Growing, Growing, Growing

Sweet Pea's had a bit of a growth spurt lately!  At her last doctor's appointment, she weighed almost 19 pounds, which is the 13th percentile for her age.  Still small, to be sure, but a far cry from the .3 percentile she was just a few months ago.  (That's not 3rd percentile.  That's POINT THREE percentile!)

Accordingly, she has grown out of her entire wardrobe in the course of two weeks.  So I had to go on an impromptu shopping spree last week.  And on top of it all, I realized that her shoes (a size 2) were getting too small.  

Her new kicks arrived this afternoon as I was drawing a bath for the kids.  After trying them on, Sweet Pea immediately threw them into the water.  Sigh.  Good thing they fit, because we can't return them now!

Little Man's no slouch, either.  We recently upgraded him to size 5 diapers.  That size has never been in our house before ... because CC was still wearing size 4 diapers when we potty trained her.  At age TWO AND A HALF.  It's quite a change for us to have a baby who's large for his age!
