Snow Day!

Much excitement here -- we got some snow!  Only about half an inch, but hey -- even that small amount is rare for here.  CC was beside herself when we told her about the forecast yesterday.

It started snowing around 6 pm yesterday, and by around 8 it was done.  I went outside to grab a picture because I wasn't sure the snow would still be here by morning!

But fortunately it was.  And schools were closed.  And work was closed.  Whatever should we do on an unexpectedly free snow day?!

Enjoy a nice hot lunch of macaroni and cheese:

The rest of today's schedule: naps, indoor play, and a long bubble bath.  Here's to snow days!
