Tampa Break

Last weekend, MJ and I took a glorious 4-day vacation to Tampa to see the Yankees' spring training. It was blissfully kid-free (thanks to my parents!) and we loved it. 

We saw two games at Steinbrenner Field:

spent several hours hiking at Weedon Island Preserve:

took naps almost every day, enjoyed some delicious food, and stayed at a nice hotel right on the water. Aaah.

Fortunately my parents sent us frequent pictures of their activities back home with the kids, so we didn't feel too homesick. And it goes without saying that the kids had a blast with Memere and Pepere! But we were still happy to get back on Monday and be together as a family. It was a perfect getaway for us to recharge our batteries!
