She struck a celebratory pose in the morning, sang an end-of-year song with her class, ate a picnic lunch with all the families, played with her friends, hugged her teachers good-bye, and then told me, tearfully, that she doesn't want to ever leave preschool.
That's life, baby! On to the next step.
She has really flourished these last two years in preschool. I'm so proud of her, and excited to see how she continues to blossom in kindergarten next year. We love you, CC!
