Baby bunnies! No wonder we've been seeing an adult rabbit in our yard so often lately. Surprisingly, the nest is right in the middle of our grass, just a few feet from our swingset.
The babies are tiny, probably just a few days old. Their eyes are still shut, and they're hairless. Every once in a while they make a sound that's exactly like a dog's squeaky toy.
CC's party is this weekend, and there will be 20 kids running around the yard, hopped up on sugar. How to keep the babies safe?
Ta daa! I bought a few pieces of garden fencing, and decorated it with flowers for the party. It'll fit right in with the rest of the decor!
