CC's Birthday Outing

This weekend, Alice took CC out for her annual birthday outing, and CC was counting down the minutes until Alice pulled into our driveway to pick her up. This year they went to brunch at a fancy restaurant (CC ordered french toast, with cappuccino cheesecake for dessert). Afterwards they went to a local art museum, to see an exhibit on fashion through the decades. Alice reports back that CC was very interested in the outfits and gowns on display, reading the descriptions of each and picking out her favorites.

I just love that the kids are creating close relationships with Alice as they get older! Sweet Pea and Little Man are already hard at work, planning their "birthday dates" with Miss Alice.
