Holy Haircuts

Sweet Pea and CC haven't had haircuts in a while, and they've been begging lately. I decided to try a stylist I'd heard a lot about, a woman who comes to your house to cut your kids' hair. Genius. She set up a tall chair, pulled out a princess cape, set up her scissors, and went to town.

The girls both were adamant about wanting short hair. CC initially said she wanted it as short as her ears, but the stylist suggested jaw length, so it could still be long enough to pull back. She cut off almost 7 inches! 

Sweet Pea's hair is a little wavy, so the stylist recommended leaving it slightly longer than CC's, at the shoulders. But once the cut was done, Sweet Pea didn't think it was short enough. So back she went into the chair, and another inch was lopped off.

The icing on the cake was fancy little braids on top. I know Sweet Pea doesn't look too happy in this picture, but it just captures her beautiful little face so perfectly.

I think they're adorable!
