Father's Day Weekend

We spent our Father's Day weekend in Connecticut with Grandma and Grandpa! It was so nice to spend time with them, and with Grandma Jean and Cousin Carol, before Grandma and Grandpa move down here.

The two dads on their special day:

No trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house would be complete without playing with all the Legos and toys they saved from when Daddy was little. The old John Deere tractor is at the top of the list!

We packed a lot into just three days. Many visits to Grandma Jean's house, tic tac toe, walks in the rain, Lego building, exercising in their home gym, delicious dinners, and even a chocolate tasting hosted by Grandma! Sweet Pea and Little Man preferred Hershey's Milk Chocolate, and CC liked Dove Special Dark.

Their house is on the market and will (hopefully) sell soon. So it was bittersweet visiting for one last time. On the other hand, we're excited to have Grandma and Grandpa living down near us -- they move next month!
