She has dangly earrings for the first time (courtesy of Julie's daughter Emily, who handed down about 30 pairs to her!):
And biggest of all, she is old enough to stay home alone for (very) short periods of time! Last week she did it for the first time, while I brought Sweet Pea to gymnastics. In advance, we rehearsed all the possibilities and what she would do, and went over the rules: no cooking, no going outside, no answering the doorbell. Everything went smoothly -- she colored while we were gone and wasn't scared a bit!
She's also been a great helper to me in the kitchen. She loves helping me cook dinner and setting the table!
