We had an impromptu trip to Bryson and Braxton's house this afternoon to celebrate Braxton's 6th birthday. The cousins played their hearts out on the elaborate playset Uncle Patrick built for the boys. We had pizza and oreo ice cream cake, smashed the heck out of a (surprisingly tough) pinata, and enjoyed the nice weather.
It was an especially nice surprise when Karen invited us over, because our time with Patrick is limited -- he is getting ready to deploy again.
Now onward to Thanksgiving!
