Pretzel Twisting

Yesterday, the girls and I decided to make pretzels. But by the time the dough finished rising, it was time to go to Grandpa and Grandma's to watch the Army game (our new tradition). So we brought it with us! It was a fun project to do while the game was on.

After rolling the dough, we twisted them into some traditional pretzel shapes, but also bows and even a star. Then we brushed them with an egg wash, boiled them in water, and finished them off in the oven.

The boys were too busy cheering for Army to help. But they were happy to eat the finished pretzels!
