Christmas #1 was on the 23rd, with my whole side of the family. Everyone (even Leia) came over to our house for fun, food, presents, and -- best of all -- quality time together.
There were Legos, BeyBlades, Nerf guns, arts and crafts kits, and board games. The kids spent the rest of the day playing with all their new gifts.
We also celebrated my dad's and Karen's birthdays. Pepere turns 70 this year, so it was a big one!
Patrick is deploying in early January, so it was bittersweet to spend the day with him. He will be gone until the fall. Please say a few prayers for him to stay safe!
