I thought the seed bombs were pretty awesome. We mixed balls of clay with some soil and flower seeds, and shaped each little ball into a heart. Then we attached a little tag with a poem about how if you planted it, flowers would grow just like friendship. It was sweet, and probably one my favorite Valentines ... until a boy in CC's class ate one. I told him he was probably fine, but it's a good rule of thumb to not eat anything if it doesn't taste like food. (I mean, seriously. He's nine.)
Afterwards we decorated cookies at Will's house, and then the boys surprised the girls with flowers and candy, while we surprised the boys with homemade lemon tarts. Then we rounded out the day with heart-shaped pizzas and Tangled.
