Spirit Week!

The teachers at our school decided to have a (virtual) spirit week this week, with themes every day. How fun! Everyone posts their pictures on our school Facebook page, and the kids love seeing their friends dressed up.

Monday was pajama day:

Tuesday was Superhero Day. To be honest, my kids aren't that into superheroes, so I didn't think they'd really participate in this one. But they decided to come up with their own superhero identities, superpowers, and costumes. 

• Sweet Pea is "Super Puppy." She has a super bark that turns her invisible, and she fights thieves (called "stealies").
  
• Little Man is "Captain Laser." He fights the living undead, and can shoot lasers "out of every part of my body." The lower he crouches, the stronger his lasers are.
  
• CC is "Weather Woman," who can control the weather. There's something in her costume to represent every season of the year, and she carries a Lightning Lipstick to electrocute bad guys.

Yesterday was Wacky Wednesday. My three thought it'd be a great day for hair wax, which I was more than happy to go along with. Yet somehow they look like zombies.

Today is Emoji Day. In the spirit of "No good deed goes unpunished," the complaints were so vociferous that I threatened to strike. Mommy is not a professional face painter! But I give you Cool Sunglasses Face, Makeup Face, and Face Savoring Food:

And tomorrow is school spirit day, where we'll all wear our school shirts. At least that one is easy!
