First Meet

Yesterday the kids had their first swim meet. The theme was "Red White, and Blue," and Team Morrison showed up absolutely decked out:

The meet was virtual, so our team swam at our pool; the opposing team swam at their pool; and the coaches compared times afterwards. I wasn't able to watch -- to enforce social distancing, no spectators are allowed at practices or meets. But when I picked them up afterwards, they were chattering with excitement about their events, and they'd each received an "I tried my best" ribbon. Ha!
