Life Lately

In addition to virtual school, we are keeping ourselves occupied in a variety of fun ways:

Sweet Pea and I made rainbow-frosted cookie bars (which is no surprise to anyone who knows Sweet Pea: she loves cooking AND rainbows).

Little Man has been fascinated with his ant farm. Six weeks in, only one ant is left -- and we have christened her "Survivor." She's been the lone survivor for more than two weeks now!

CC has had several (outside) playdates, like this one with her friend Abigail. They painted a large picture of a castle on a big sheet of paper in the garage.

We've continued with our Saturday Night Family Tickle Fights: kids against adults (adults always win).

We harvested the rest of the vegetables from our unsuccessful little Covid garden. The shapes of our cucumbers gave us a lot of laughs, but unfortunately we didn't get too many. Same thing with our cherry tomatoes -- we only got about 10. We'll have to try something different next year.

We've visited some parks to run around and get some fresh air. What, don't all kids knit while they're at a park??
