We've had a flurry of baking and treat-making around here!
First up: gingerbread houses. These came with a little plastic tray to help hold the house up as the frosting dried. Genius. For the first time, the kids were able to construct their houses (almost) without any assistance.
Little Man's says "Go Army" on one side and "Beat Navy" on the other. Fanhood beats strongly in this one's veins.
The houses are safely put away in a glass cupboard, where we can still see them, but they're safe from Amber (unlike in some past years).
And over the last two days, we've made several kinds of cookies: oatmeal scotchies, white chocolate peppermint cookies, and our traditional frosted Christmas cookies. Everyone got in on the cookie decorating!
Now we're ready! Bring on Christmas Eve!
