Last weekend my side of the family gathered to celebrate CC's 12th birthday. It's amazing how spread out the kids' parties become, once they get older and have so many activities! Party #2 will be on her actual birthday, and Party #3 (with her friends) won't be until May 20. Goodness!
But we had a blast hanging out with the cousins and aunts and uncles. And Dane is officially taller than Memere now!
Speaking of Memere, she made a Wednesday-themed cake, after CC's favorite show, and it was awesome. There was so much food, chess, laser tag, Star Wars Battlefront, dog-cuddling, and companionship. CC was in heaven!
