Batter Up!

What a weekend! We had CC's play on Friday and a baseball game for Little Man on Saturday. My parents came too, and what a game for them to see! Little Man had his best outing in years.

Of his three at bats, he made really solid contact every time. Once he was thrown out at first, but the other two were singles. He was so excited! After 3 straight seasons of kid-pitch baseball, he has never gotten a hit. And then to get two in one game? Way to go!

He celebrated by getting two treats from the concession stand after the game (Gatorade and a slushie). He's already talking a big game about how many treats he's going to earn next time. I love his confidence!
