One of CC's birthday gifts from us was an appointment to get her nails done at a salon. She really had her heart set on some kind of fake/acrylic extension, so she'd have long nails. So last Saturday, she and I had a little date. We went to a nice salon, and the owner came and explained all the options to us.
We decided on SNS tips with dip (I still don't really know what that all means). And CC was in heaven! She had a huge smile the whole time and kept saying, "Thank you! Thank you so much!"
The end result is pretty nice. She's been getting compliments left and right, and as she tells me, "They're so ME!" They're long enough for her to feel dramatic and special, but short enough that she can still practice piano. Win win!
