We had a really nice weekend! Memere and Pepere came to visit, for the holiday as well as CC and Sweet Pea's recital, and we went to Mass and brunch together on Sunday before they headed back home. Any Mother's Day that I get to see my mom is a good one in my book!
Later that afternoon, I told MJ that I wanted to indulge in a nap. Sweet Pea woke me from a dead sleep to ask me to unlock the iPad so she could have screen time, and as she backed out of the room, she whispered, "Can you clean the water bottle I just put in the sink? It's full of rotten pear juice."
Isn't that the most Mother's Day thing ever?
