First Baths

The very first newborn milestone has been reached by both babies: losing their belly button stumps!  Little Man shocked us both by losing his at just 6 days old, and Sweet Pea wasn't far behind. 

So once MJ returned from his business trip last week, I wanted to give the babies their first baths.  We have decided not to use the infant tub we used with CC; it's just not as easy to use as this blue baby tub we're borrowing (indefinitely, apparently?) from my brother and his family. 

Although CC is plenty old enough to have baths in an adult bathtub, we're still bathing her in the "toddler" side of this tub.  But the other side is for newborns, so that's what we used for Little Man and Sweet Pea.

And in the proud Morrison family tradition, they both screamed their heads off during their baths.  I wonder if either one of them will eventually enjoy baths at a young age?  CC didn't start liking them until she was well past 6 months old.  My money's on Sweet Pea -- she is by far the most tolerant of our three children, so I suspect she will start enjoying baths early on.
