Just a few more things to add about Christmas before we wrap up until next season:
1. This was the first Christmas all three kids enjoyed their gorgeous needlepointed stockings from MJ's mother (last year the twins didn't have them because Grandma didn't know their genders in time). I know this picture doesn't show the stockings as beautifully as they look in real life, but it's as good as I could do with two 1-year-olds and a 2-year-old:
All three canvases were painted by the same artist, so they coordinate. Sweet Pea's and Little Man's are girl-and-boy versions of the same stockings. All three names are embroidered at the top of each stocking (but I removed them for this blog). I cherish these stockings. Our kids are so blessed to have two such talented grandmothers!
2. CC really liked the song "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." The first time she heard it, she was struck by one phrase, and we had the following conversation:
"He sees me when I'm sleeping?"
"Yes, Santa can always see you."
"Does he look through my window?"
"No, he can just see you. He's special like that."
She thought for a minute, then brightened up. "Oh! Santa has a video monitor!"
3. I made two Christmas crafts that I was very happy with this year. I couldn't post about them prior to Christmas, because they were gifts. The first is a platter with the kids' footprints. I have to admit, it's pretty adorable! I saw the idea on the internet (of course) and had to do it myself.
A pillow for my niece's bedroom. I MADE THIS, PEOPLE!! I'm ridiculously proud of it. Check out this tutorial for instructions (although I used my sewing machine instead of a glue gun).
So there you have it -- the official end to posts about the Morrisons' Christmas. It was a good one! But I'm already looking forward to next year (as is CC ...).

Can you point me to the tutorial that you used to make the Mistletoe Platter? Would really like to do this for our Great-grandparents this coming Christmas. Thanks!
