Dinos from the Past

I haven't been blogging much this week, because I'm participating in a massive consignment sale coming up, and it has me very busy!  Every item needs to be entered into an online catalog, tags printed out and affixed to the item just so; clothing needs to be ironed and hung on a specific type of hanger, oriented a specific way, with the tag pinned on a specific place.  I'm really hoping that my profits from this sale make all the work worth it!

Anyway, one of the really fun things happening around Casa Morrison lately is CC's infatuation with dinosaurs.  When I mentioned it to MJ's mother, she reminded me that MJ had a much-loved stuffed stegasaurus, appropriately named Stega, that she had saved and sent to us in a box years ago.  Sure enough, I dug through the box and found him.

CC was thrilled.  Not only is Stega a dinosaur, but he was "Daddy's Special Guy" when Daddy was a little boy.  She asks MJ regularly whether he wants to sleep with Stega (no), and whether he loved Stega very much when he was little (yes).

She hasn't gone as far as wanting to sleep with Stega herself (that honor is reserved for her own Special Guy, a stuffed lamb named -- you guessed it -- Lamb).  But she definitely enjoys having him around.  And I suspect MJ does too!
