Happy Birthday, MJ!

Another year has come and gone, and I am so happy that we've shared it with MJ. The provider, the Daddy, the one-true-love, the one whose return home each day is so eagerly awaited.

CC insisted on singing him the birthday song -- solo -- and "helping" him blow out his candles and open his presents. She also made him this beautiful card:

(No, she can't write. I wrote the letters lightly in pencil, and she traced them, then I erased the pencil. Still, I was pretty impressed at how well she traced!)

Happy birthday, MJ! We love you and can't wait to see what excitement this next year brings. 

Tomorrow, MJ and I are headed to Florida for a long weekend, sans kids, and are beside ourselves with excitement for the getaway. Adios, amigos! And good luck, Mom and Dad!
