Piano Bench

I ended up making a padded cover for our piano bench, because I couldn't find one available for sale anywhere that was what I wanted. It was a pretty involved project for me -- a novice sewer -- but I'm happy with the results. There's a heavy elastic that goes around the edges to keep it nice and snug, like a thickly padded fitted sheet.

Hey, it's better than a towel!

CC loves to play the piano, which makes me happy. In this picture, she's playing with Lamb, who is more and more involved in her daily activities lately.  He used to just be the stuffed animal she slept with, but now he comes downstairs in the morning and plays with the kids all day. Friendly little guy.  :)
