Beach Part 1

Another summer, another amazing week at the beach. This was the first year we've gone to the beach at the end of the summer, but I really liked it! It gave us something to look forward to all summer, and also was a great way to cap off our summer before going back to school.

We played in the sand and tidal pools, jumped in the waves, and built another sand animal (a fish this year). Little Man got a vicious jellyfish sting. The girls had their first experience with a boogie board (Little Man wasn't interested after the jellyfish incident). I took a sunrise walk with Sweet Pea. MJ had a close encounter with a large alligator. We played pajama bocce and beach tic-tac-toe, flew a kite, ate take-out on the beach, spent lazy days doing whatever we wanted, and got sand into every crack and crevice of our toys, clothes, and bodies.
