Beach Part 2

One of the best things about our beach vacations is all the non-beach activities we can do, too! Miniature golf (Little Man got a hole-in-one!), pony rides and a petting zoo, ice cream, a playground, a lighthouse ...

We even took a crabbing boat this year, where they taught us how to fish for crabs, and then we had a little competition. The Morrison family caught three crabs, but I was the only one brave enough to hold one!

This was the first year that we didn't get a double bike trailer for two of the kids to ride in. That meant that there was a kid on the loose. Scary thought! MJ and I both had tagalong bikes attached to our bikes, and the third kid rode in between us on a solo bike. I was happy to see that all three kids did well with the solo bike, generally following directions well, not causing any collisions, staying on the right, not riding into cars.

It was a success! This setup will last us for several years -- we're nowhere near ready for three loose kids on the resort's crowded bike paths.
