Happy Easter -- He is risen! And what a glorious day it was!
We started off with Mass, and when we arrived home, the Easter Bunny had delivered our baskets! The kids received electric toothbrushes, movies, art kits, and cool eggs filled with slime and dragon parts to assemble.
Quick time-out for pictures while everyone was still looking fancy:
Then aunts and uncles and cousins arrived!
We Facetimed with Grandma and Grandpa. Sweet Pea helped Memere make some treats. The kids played and ate and shrieked with laughter.
Miss Alice, Linda and Mia joined us for an egg hunt. At CC's request, Pepere and Daddy and Uncle Jon hid the eggs really well. (Some of them might never be found ...)
And afterwards there was the typical swapping of goodies.
Our Easter was extra big this year -- because we also celebrated CC's birthday. Check out the Easter-themed cake my mom made!
As I think to myself quite often ... life is good. God is so good to us.
