We celebrated by going to Shake Shack, which has become our official doggie celebration location. They have dog items on their menu, so how can we resist? Amber enjoyed a Poochini sundae (and finished off the rest of our bacon cheese fries, too).
She's not quite as well-behaved as she was the first year we had her: Amber had apparently lulled us into a false sense of security around food. The honeymoon is over! She has discovered her true Ridgeback roots, and counter-surfs like a champ now. But other than that, she's still the same amazing, calm, loving creature, so thankful for attention, and such a wonderful member of our family.
