Dane and Hayden take ANW lessons twice a week, so it was no surprise that they beat the pants off everyone -- especially Dane, who flew through the competition course. But everyone else had fun, too!
The happiest surprise of the day was when Bryson showed up with no feeding tube, full of strength and vigor and health. It was so good to hug him and see him horsing around with all the other kids!
Susan and I silently mourned that Dane refused to request my mom's epic chocolate cake with oreo frosting. He insisted on vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, and my mom delivered an amazing creation as always.
As always, we took a family picture.
And in one of the (many) shots, Dane photobombed his own birthday picture -- and it turned out kinda cool! Ha!
