What a birthday it was! We started the day with presents, then a special Krispy Kreme delivery for breakfast.
She loved her books (so many books!), her Belle costume (she spent most of the day changing in and out of it), Legos, her new wiggle scooter, and her pogo stick. She went outside immediately and worked at it until she could jump 50 times. I couldn't believe how quickly she learned!

The highlight of the day was the surprise birthday parade! Grandpa and Grandma and all our local friends drove by the house at 3:30 to cheer, sing, wave, honk and wish her a happy birthday. One of her besties, Tia, even drove 40 minutes to get here!
We wrapped up the day with her favorite takeout (sushi) and blueberry muffins in lieu of cake.
That night during prayers, CC said, "Thank you, God, for the best birthday I could ever imagine!" I'm so glad she was able to stay positive despite our circumstances.
The next morning, we measured her: she's 48.5 inches tall. That's it -- Quarantine Birthday 2020 is officially complete!
