Memere and Pepere

Saturday was such a fun day -- Memere and Pepere came to visit! It was a surprise for the kids, and they were definitely shocked! We had a great time seeing them for the first time since Covid-19 turned everyone's lives upside-down.

We spent the afternoon in the front yard, chatting and enjoying being together. We played croquet for the first time, relaxed in the sunny weather, and enjoyed lunch grilled by MJ.

It seemed like such a waste that they drove all the way here and didn't even spend the night. But we wanted to be safe and keep everyone healthy. Hopefully it won't be another 3 months before we see them again, but next time -- hopefully -- our visit will be a bit longer than just a few hours.
