One of the activities Sweet Pea has tried this year is cheerleading. With all her gymnastics experience, we weren't surprised at all when she was one of the few 4th graders selected for her school's team. And Mia made the team too, so the two of them can practice together. The team has been working hard for the last month, and this week was their first performance.
They did great! And more importantly, they had a blast. They were full of smiles and cheered loud enough for the whole crowd to hear. The basketball team won by a landslide, and the cheer team was surely part of the reason. 😉
(Sweet Pea was very nervous they would drop her when she was lifted up in the air, but everything went perfectly!)
