CC continues to love her year-round swim team. She is definitely improving, not only because her times are getting better, but because she didn't get disqualified for any events this season.
Two of her besties -- Clara and Patricia -- joined the team this year. So CC is no longer as nervous about meets, because she has friends to hang out with. And she even acted as a "big sister" at the meets (despite her diminutive size) because Clara and Patricia had never attended meets before.
CC just closed out the short-course season with an amazing performance at her final meet. She dropped an impressive 5 seconds on her 100m freestyle, an incredible 11 seconds on her 100m individual medley, and a jaw-dropping 14 seconds on her 100m breaststroke! She was extremely proud of herself, and her coach presented her with a little rubber ducky to reward her.
