Guess who turned 65 today? BRIEN!
I surprised him and took him out to a fun birthday lunch, where we took this picture that I love -- he's looking right at the camera and smiling! Those two things never happen at the same time with him!
Afterwards we went back to his home for presents and the obligatory introductions to new staff and residents, and well as chatting with all the interesting characters we've known for years. It was a quick but fun birthday outing. Cheers to another great year!
