After the last week of agony, I finally had my cortisone shot this morning. Right now my hand just feels numb from the anesthetic, but the doctor said it could take a few days for the cortisone to go into effect. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this injection works!
Otto continues to surprise me by how mellow he seems. He moves constantly, but it's little, gentle movements. He's never hurt me with a kick or an elbow jab. He never goes crazy moving around, as if he's having a little temper tantrum. And for the last month, he hasn't changed positions; he's been perfectly happy staying head down, facing to the left. I hope that all these signs are evidence that he's a mellow, calm baby!
