We've had limited success with fruits so far, much to my surprise. CC still detests apples, but likes bananas okay, and hasn't quite made up her mind about kiwi yet. But pears might be a winner.
I didn't cook, just waited till they were ripe and pureed them with the immersion blender, skin and all. They were very thin/watery, so I thickened them up with oatmeal. So to be completely forthright, she hasn't had "straight" pears yet, just a pear-oatmeal blend. However, an apple-oatmeal blend went over like a lead balloon, so I am optimistic at her openness to the pears last night.
