CC and I met him later for a very indulgent lunch (Five Guys!). I baked and decorated a red velvet cake for him while CC napped during the morning and afternoon:
I would just like to say that I took this picture deliberately in a way that you can't really see the writing very well. Trust me, it looked better when MJ first saw it than it does in this picture!
And once MJ was done with work for the day, we headed out to a grown-up dinner while a sitter held down the fort at home. We are definitely going to have to do that more often, especially with the twins coming!
This was MJ's first birthday as a daddy. Here's to another great year, and many more to come!
