New Foods

Another combination post: several new foods over the last week.

First: Tuna!


Tuna was actually not a huge favorite of CC's.  She ate a few pieces, then picked around the rest to get all the broccoli instead (she likes broccoli, what can I say).  But I offered her tuna again a few days later, and she ate it well.  So the jury's still out on that one.

Next: Apricots!


Dried apricots, specifically.  They're like candy; who wouldn't like them?  As you can tell from the picture, CC was definitely a fan.  And I was too, since dried apricots are an easy snack to keep in my purse.

This morning: Prunes!


Yes, yes, I know -- it's amazing that she's 11 months already and still had not tried this basic baby staple.  In my defense, she has never needed them before.  And she didn't need them this morning, either, but I gave them to her anyway.  Rookie mistake.  Wow -- these things are effective.  I'll spare you all the details, but the bottom line is that I will never give these to CC again unless she really needs them!
