Week 15

Okay, so here we go again -- belly shots for a new pregnancy.

I'm a little behind the power curve on this one, because I started belly shots with CC at 13 weeks.  I'm 15 weeks now with the twins, and just beginning!  But it'll still be neat to see how I change during this pregnancy, and how it differs from my pregnancy with CC.

I wanted to do something a little different this time, so I'm doing black and white silhouettes.  It turned out easier than I thought, despite the fact that it is very dark and gloomy today.  (And yes, I am fully clothed!  Nothing risque here!)

For reference, here's my Week 15 shot from last time.  I was not showing at all, and hadn't gained any weight yet.

Don't worry -- I am not holding myself to the same standard.  I know that I am going to gain a heck of a lot more weight with these little guys than I did with CC, and sooner.  That's okay by me.  I know it's the best thing for them.  And I'm going to be larger this go around, not only because there are two babies, but because second pregnancies tend to be larger anyway.

For the record, I've gained 14 pounds so far.  I'm pretty happy with that.  My goal is to reach 25 pounds by 25 weeks, and I am pretty much on track.  As with CC, my weight gain seems to be everywhere BUT my belly!  Everything is larger: my legs, my face, my arms -- but I don't look pregnant.

I continue to feel very good, basically normal.  No morning sickness, no fatigue, no sleeplessness.  I am hungrier than I used to be, and I make a point to eat a lot more, but that's about it.  I'm crossing my fingers that I keep feeling good as long as possible!

You look fabulous, as always! Those babies are so lucky to have such an adoring, healthy mommy. God bless...

Hey! I found your blog from your link on babycenter.com! I think that silhouette is a REALLY cute way to do bump shots! How'd you do it??

Hi Ariana! You have to mess with your camera settings. Do you have a camera you can adjust? I made the shutter speed 1/200, the aperture 4.0, and no flash. No lights on in the room and hubby took the pic. Good luck!
