Growing and Growing

This week we marked Little Man and Sweet Pea's heights on our Morrison family growth chart.  It was interesting to see where they fell compared to each other, and compared to CC when she was 1.

Since they aren't standing by themselves yet, it was a two-person job: MJ propped them up against the door while I marked off their heights.

Surprisingly, Sweet Pea is only a tiny bit shorter than CC at age 1.  I was expecting the difference to be greater, because Sweet Pea is so tiny.  But I sometimes forget that although CC has always been around average weight for her age, she is also very short for her age.

Little Man blew them both out of the water.  At 29.5 inches, he is almost halfway between CC at age 1 and age 2.

(CC picked the colors -- Little Man is red, and Sweet Pea is blue.  CC is black.  Now if I can just manage to have blue and red Sharpies available every year at measuring time ...)
