Although we only just returned from our Thanksgiving trip, I loaded up the kids on Tuesday and headed to my parents' house. My parents haven't been able to spend much time at all with the kids since Sweet Pea and Little Man's birthday in August, so it was long overdue.
We had a nice time. However, CC is turning into a little monster in the car. Sweet Pea is relatively safe -- for now -- because she still rides in her infant seat, which has high sides that protect her from CC. But Little Man is in his "big boy car seat" and is very much exposed to his older sister.
Ways in which CC tortured Little Man in the car:
- Held his hand and refused to let go, laughing while he screamed and struggled
- Yanked his sleeve to prevent him from sucking on his fingers (which he does, obsessively)
- Took off her shoe, held it by the laces, and beat him with it
- Took off her sock and tickled his face with it
- Screamed at the top of her lungs every time he started falling asleep
- Pummeled him repeatedly with books and toys
Listen here, daughter. You are small for your age. Little Man is catching up fast. Payback is a b_____!!
In the meantime, I wonder if it's safe for a toddler to ride in her car seat while hog tied and gagged?
