4th of July

For the holiday weekend, we headed to my parents' for some fun with the family.

There was swimming:

CC, our new water bug, swam non-stop with Pepere

Despite a bad first visit to the pool, Little Man rallied
and had a blast on the second day ...

... even swimming on his own a bit for the first time!

CC and Dane didn't "slide" so much as "crawl."

But they had fun splashing at the end!

4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. It's so relaxed; the weather is warm; we can swim and grill and just hang out. It doesn't get any better than that!
