Splash Pad

There's a splash pad not too far from our neighborhood, and I've heard great things about it. But I'd been warned it wasn't for babies, so I'd never taken our kids there before. When my twin moms' group held a playdate at the splash pad yesterday I decided we would give it a shot.

CC loved it. After some initial hesitation, she was sitting and even lying down on the jets, and even playing an impromptu game of tag with a little boy there. Sweet Pea was fascinated, and liked to stomp in the puddles on the outside of the splash area. Little Man wouldn't go near it -- this is the closest he ever came:

Afterwards we played at the adjacent playground, which made Little Man much happier. In the future I won't bother wasting a swim diaper on him!

Unfortunately I'd forgotten my camera at home, so the pictures are from my phone. Next time I will make sure to bring the camera!
