Visit with Relatives

I was a bit MIA from the blogosphere last week, I admit. But there was good reason: we had relatives in town visiting us! There's been a lot of excitement and happiness around these parts since MJ's Aunt Maripat, Uncle John, and Uncle Brien have been back in town.

Bonus: it was Uncle Brien's birthday last week (he's a spry 55), so we celebrated it with the purchase of a new wheelchair. Plus cake, of course:

I was thrilled to capture this precious moment between Sweet Pea and Uncle Brien, as she was hugging him good night:

We also had fun taking Brien shopping, playing with trains, building castles with MagnaTiles, watching a fair amount of soccer, and reading lots of books:

And in general, enjoying each other's company:
