Her teachers sent her home with a large gingerbread man cutout that she could decorate as herself, using whatever materials she wanted. Parents were instructed not to assist, so I was 0% involved (except to tie the tiny bow, which is beyond CC's abilities).
I let CC dig through my bin of arts and crafts supplies and pick whatever she liked. She chose crayons, markers, glitter paint, googly eyes, buttons, and ribbon. Using glue is just about the most exciting thing in her world right now!
The thing weighed about 5 pounds when CC was done. She promptly named it "Gingerbread CC."
