Christmas Recap, Part II

We ended up having another mini Christmas celebration on Sunday, when we drove to my parents' house for my dad's birthday. Of course, the kids had a blast opening up even more presents, but the best part was spending time together.

Aunt Karen reading to CC and Bryson:

Patrick and Braxton:

CC and Dane were the "big kids" at the table and used real china like the grownups:

My mom and Bryson:

After dinner, it was time for presents! Little Man happily played the rest of the day with this wooden pizza set:

Hayden was just adorable on her new bike:

My favorite picture of the day was taken after CC had finished opening all her presents, but Bryson still had one to open. CC used all of her (impressive) powers of persuasion to convince Bryson to let her open his gift. It didn't work -- Bryson just ignored her -- but look at the concentration on her face, and how she was using her hands to get her point across!

The highlight of the evening: my dad's birthday party. Happy 65th, Dad! All the grandkids gathered 'round to help him blow out the candles.

Whew! It's been a fun, but fast and furious last week or so. We're home now, and getting back into our normal routine.
