Visiting Cousins

I know, it's been almost a week since the last blog post, but we've been BUSY! I have tons to catch you all up on. First, we just got back from visiting our cousins Dane and Hayden. How much could we pack into two days?!

First we went to a bounce-house activity center, full of giant bouncy slides, castles, mazes, and play areas:

It was the perfect activity for a hot day, because it's indoor and air-conditioned. There's a whole section for kids under 5, but we ended up venturing over to the "big kids" area because there were hardly any other people there.

We took the kids in their pajamas to have hot, made-to-order donuts for breakfast:

I picked plain donuts rolled in cinnamon sugar, and they were fabulous. Little Man picked peanut butter glaze with chocolate sprinkles. CC picked orange glaze with rainbow sprinkles.Sweet Pea and Aunt Susan, in a show of solidarity, both picked chocolate glaze with chocolate sprinkles, and then Sweet Pea demonstrated her preferred way to eat a donut:

We went to a great playground, but all the kids wanted to do was play in the giant sandbox:

They praticed their cornhole skills. (Shoving as many bean bags as they can into the hole, then fishing them all out again. Repeat.)

We also hit up Dane and Hayden's neighborhood pool, which was a blast, but unfortunately I don't have any pictures. All in all, it was a great visit, and we're already putting together a to-do list for when they come to visit us next time!
