She has been promoted to the upstairs of her preschool, which is a big deal, she tells me. Now her bag hooks are in the hallway, instead of in the classroom.
She already loves her teachers, and had a lot of fun today despite not being in a class with any of her classmates from last year.
We kicked off the morning with a breakfast at IHOP (the kids wanted the funny-face pancakes, naturally) before bringing CC to school. I was relieved to see that she wasn't nervous at all walking into class; she was chattering away with her teacher about her fancy dress and Chuck Taylors.
(Notice CC chose the same dress today that she wore for her last day of school in May!)
When I picked CC up in the afternoon, I asked, "What was your favorite part about today?" She yelled, "EVERYTHING!"
